Studio Wainui has been engaged by the Waikato Regional Council on an ongoing basis for over 6 years to provide expert environmental planning support with processing of resource consent applications and environmental compliance monitoring.

This has included processing/management of resource consent applications for many large-scale development projects such as the Tainui Ruakura Inland Port development and the Hamilton City Council Peacockes Strategic Roading project including the new Waikato River bridge. Following the consent processing role, Studio Wainui is often engaged to continue with compliance monitoring of many of these projects including detailed design/management plan review and on-site erosion and sediment control and stormwater management assessments.
