Located 6km from Hamilton City Centre, the Aurora development is a residential housing development comprising approximately 35ha of masterplanned residential living located in the south-western end of the Peacocke growth area.

Studio Wainui has been involved from the beginning including developing a sub-catchment ICMP for the Aurora masterplanned area in 2018, which has been the guiding document for three- waters infrastructure over several stages of consenting since then.  We continue to be involved in the project with subsequent Water Impact assessments being developed for each stage of the development.  We continue to design comprehensive stormwater management systems for the development and thus far have designed and constructed two stormwater treatment wetlands, raingardens and flowpaths. Designs are underway for two more stormwater wetlands which are planned for future stages.
